June 10th - Big Fish (2003) PG-13
William Bloom (Billy Crudup) tries to learn more about his dying father, Edward (Albert Finney), by piecing together the facts out of the various fantastic tales and legends of epic proportions he's been told over the years. Edward was a traveling salesman, and his journeys throughout the South are the seed of the tales. Directed by Tim Burton, the movie co-stars Ewan McGregor (as the young Edward), Helena Bonham-Carter and Steve Buscemi.
June 17th - Son of Rambow (2007) PG-13
Forbidden to watch TV or go to the movies by his ultrareligious parents, young Will (Bill Milner) gets a hold of a camera, and his mind blossoms in this nostalgic comedy from the team behind The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Set in 1980s Britain, the film tells the tale of the friendship that blossoms between Will and class bully Lee (Will Poulter) when the latter recruits Will to help him make a home movie inspired by Rambo: First Blood.
June 24th - Driving Miss Daisy (1989) PG
This four-time Academy Award-winning story about a genteel but strong-willed Southern matron, Daisy Wethan (Jessica Tandy), and her chauffeur Hoke (Morgan Freeman) is based on Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize-winning play. It's a contest of wills as they learn that for two people so different, they have much in common -- the bumpy road they travel ultimately leads to the friendship of a lifetime.
